ABC-7 First Alert: Strong winds Monday, blast of cold air hits the borderland

The ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather team issued an ABC-7 First Alert for strong winds and much colder temperatures this week.
The next few days will feature active weather throughout the Borderland. A storm system brings a variety of winter weather to the region. Windy, much colder temperatures, and snow showers are likely.
Temperatures will be much colder Tuesday and Wednesday behind two cold fronts. Wednesday will be one of the coldest days of the year, with scattered snow showers.
