ABC-7 First Alert: Cold front brings winds and cooler temps to the borderland

The ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather team issued an ABC-7 First Alert for windy conditions and cooler temperatures.

A cold front will arrive Thursday bringing wind gusts between 40 to 45 mph for west El Paso, southern Dona Ana, Hudspeth, and Otero Counties.
The borderland will also be much colder by the end of the week.

Friday will be the coldest day with highs around 10 to 15 degrees below average.
Saturday, temperatures will warm up with a chance for rain, rain chances end Sunday but winds will increase area-wide.
