StormTRACK Weather: Bitterly cold start, warming by the end of the week

FA 25

As the storm system continues to move away from the borderland, winds will be lighter this afternoon. The region will be under sunny skies, it will still be chilly as cold air continues to move into the region. High temperatures will only top out in the upper 40s, almost 20 degrees below normal for this time of year. Temperatures climb to the 70s this weekend with the next weather system bringing gusty winds Sunday and a chance for showers Monday.
