There won't be much change in Thursday's forecast. West-southwest winds will increase throughout the afternoon Thursday and Friday.

Afternoon highs will range between 100 to 102 for some locations. There will be patchy smoke over Grant and Sierra counties today and tomorrow due to the wildfire activity in Arizona.

Windy conditions will return Friday with triple-dight heat returning for Father's Day weekend. A backdoor cold front moves in Tuesday night bringing a chance of rain next week.
