ABC-7 First Alert: Possible record temps, heat advisory through Wednesday

Another scorcher as temperatures approach near record values Monday afternoon. High pressure continues to weaken and will start to shift east providing some relief from the excessive heat by Wednesday. As the upper ridge shifts east monsoonal moisture will begin to move north. Thunderstorm chances will increase Tuesday and Wednesday. The focus for thunderstorms will start to shift west later in the week.
