ABC-7 First Alert: Gusty winds expected to return after weekend

El Paso, Texas -- I know we're tired of the winds, but we are still in our windy season so expect to have to deal with them once again. The good news is, this weekend will be absolutely beautiful!

Afternoon highs will top off in the lower 80s, abundant sunshine for all areas across the Borderland and wind speeds around 5-15 MPH.

Tomorrow temps warm up to near 90 degrees. Winds will be in the breezy to sometimes low-end windy category as winds strengthen throughout the day. Stronger winds are expected as we head into Sunday afternoon/evening.

Monday's first alert forecast calls for wind gusts around 35-40 MPH with the potential of blowing dust in certain locations.
