Thunderstorms will develop around lunchtime over the Gila and Sacramento mountains. The lower elevations will see storms develop late afternoon and evening.

These storms will likely produce strong gust fronts and areas of blowing dust. The stronger storms may produce small hail and strong winds. Areas east will likely be at greater risk of severe weather, this includes far east El Paso and the Lower Valley.

Saturday and Sunday drier air will move into the region with temperatures reaching the 90s with wind gusts around 30 mph.
