StormTRACK Weather: Warmer drier weather leads to the first 100 digit day

El Paso could see its first 100-degree day this afternoon. Drier air will start to push into the Borderland, reducing storm chances to the Sacramento Mountains. The heatwave continues through next week.

Smoke from western fires giving us the haze and smoky smell. Westerly winds pick up later today with gusts near 40 mph. Some blowing dust. Just a hazy, smelly day.

Signs of heat exhaustion:

  • Heat exhaustion symptoms
  • Tiredness or weakness
  • Dizziness, headaches, and fainting
  • Heavy sweating, cold, pale, and clammy skin
  • Muscle cramps
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Fast or weak pulse
