ABC-7 First Alert: Borderland heatwave continues, possible record temps by the end of the week

An ABC-7 First Alert is in effect for the first heatwave of the season. Upper ridge dominates the weather pattern on Wednesday temperatures will rise into the upper 90s and lower 100s. We are expecting hotter temperatures as the week goes on. By Friday and Saturday, we could see near-record high temperatures.
