ABC-7 First Alert: Extreme heat continues along with isolated storms

Storms clobbered parts of El Paso Wednesday night as a surge of moisture moved from east to west during the evening. Heavy rain and hail pounded parts of the NE and east side. Pea size hail was common along the with some areas seeing nickel to quarter size. Along with the hail and rain, gusty winds around 50 mph blew in lots of dust and sand reducing visibilities to just a couple of miles.
