ABC-7 First Alert: Heavy rainfall is expected tonight

El Paso, Texas- Shower and thunderstorm activity will remain in the forecast across the Borderland. The strongest and most organized thunderstorm activity will be capable of producing heavy rain and isolated instances of flooding, in addition to gusty winds.

According to our latest weather models, these storms won't develop until tonight and become strong until the overnight hours.

Overall today we'll see clearing skies and limited rain chances during the day. High temps in the mid-90s.
