El Paso, Texas- High-pressure overhead will keep our weather calm and quiet for the next 24 hours. This will allow afternoon highs to be slightly warmer than they were yesterday.
The remainder of the work week will be quiet as well with an increase in cloud coverage.
However, big changes are to come as we head into the weekend.
Weather models are being consistent on a potent storm system to arrive this weekend. Widespread rain showers, thunderstorms, and cooler temperatures are expected. The main concern will be possible flooding.
