StormTrack Weather: Cool and Sunny to close out the week, warmer weekend

Good Morning! A frigid start to the day with temperatures ranging from the single digits around the area mountains to teens and 20s across the lowland areas.

Yesterday's cold front kicked up the winds, and dust the winds peaking at 38 mph at the El Paso International Airport. Thankfully it won't be windy today but it will be a cool afternoon with high temperatures climong to the 50s.

High temperatures will run around 5 to 10 degrees below average for this time of year. We will see plenty of sunshine today but the clouds will filter in from the southwest on Saturday. Tempratures warm to the 60s on Saturday, 70s on Super Bowl Sunday but the winds will be on the increase along with a slight chance for showers.

If you are participating in the El Paso Marathon it will be a cool start to the morning, best of luck runners!
