ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Tracking a warm weekend in the 90s, slight storm chance Mother’s Day

It has been warmer today, so far we have hit up to 88 degrees. The storm activity will Storms remain east this evening.

This weekend will be hot with highs in the low to mid 90s. Mother's Day will top out in the mid to upper 90s. Likewise, the Borderland may see isolated thunderstorms, but most of the action will be hung up in the Sacramento Mountains.

With this storm system, a slight cooldown is expected Sunday going into Monday.

This will be short-lived because we will jump back into the mid to upper 90s by next Wednesday.
