DALLAS, Texas -- What’s more Texas than Whataburger?

Appearing Monday night at a Dallas rally to endorse Joe Biden for the Democratic presidential nomination, former El Paso Congressman Beto O'Rourke told the crowd he was taking Biden to Whataburger afterward.

And yes, it did happen. O'Rourke made good on his promise.

O’Rourke posted video to social media of him and Biden chowing down at a Dallas Whataburger restaurant for a true Texas experience.

Biden and O’Rourke were greeted with cheers as they entered the fast-food burger joint on the eve of the Texas primary election.

The two politicos mingled with customers and signed autographs in addition to enjoying burgers and fries. It appeared the pair got #1 combos, Whataburgers with cheese, and Biden enjoyed a milkshake along with his meal.

The former vice president even wore a Beto t-shirt for part of their dining experience after it was given to him by a woman at the restaurant.

At one point, the pair could also be heard discussing Whataburger versus another popular burger chain, California-based In-N-Out.

It seems Twitter also ate it all up, putting O’Rourke and Whataburger among the top trending items on Monday night.
