First day of the early voting period

EL PASO, Texas - Monday, October 24th, is the first day of early voting by personal appearance. Early voting is a period of two weeks from October 24th to November 4th, with Election Day being November 8th. 

The El Paso County Elections Department is recommending voters to review their ballot before they head into the polls as it is a lengthy ballot. Be prepared with acceptable forms of ID as it is required under state law.

Those who are eligible can cast their ballot by mail. You must be 65 years of age or older, expressing a disability, and expected to give birth within the three weeks before Election Day or if you will be out of town.
