These are the nominees for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards

MTV has revealed its nominations for the 2022 Video Music Awards.

Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X lead the way with seven nominations each, followed by Doja Cat and Harry Styles with six each. Other artists who are nominated this year are Billie Eilish, Drake, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd.

Fans can take part and vote for their favorite stars across 22 gender-neutral categories, including video of the year, artist of the year, best collaboration and two all-new categories: best longform video and best metaverse performance.

The 2022 VMAs will air live from New Jersey’s Prudential Center on Sunday, August 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
