UTEP women’s basketball lands Czech international star Luisa Vydrova
EL PASO, Texas - UTEP women’s basketball head coach Keitha Adams announced the signing of Czech forward Luisa Vydrova Wednesday.
Vydrova will compete with the Czech Republic at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup this summer.

Plays for the U19 Chance in the Czech Women’s Basketball League, as well as the Czech Youth National Team … averaged 14.5 points to go along with 6.3 rebounds during the 2022-23 season … shot 86.7 percent from the free-throw line … scored in double figures 12 times, including six 20-plus efforts … posted three double-doubles, including a season-high 26 points and 10 rebounds against Slovanka MB (12/10/22) … poured in 25 points and 11 rebounds in the final game of the year against Loko Trutnov (03/21/23) … put up 10 points and 11 rebounds against Sokol HK (10/14/2022) … had 12 points and five steals versus Chomutov (10/21/22) … dropped 22 points in a hard-fought win at Loko Trutnov (12/15/22) … averaged 7.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in the 2022 FIBA U18 Women's European Championship … in the 2021 FIBA U18 Women's European Challengers, she registered 6.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game … posted 11 points to go with three rebounds and two assists against Ireland U18.
