Las Cruces man in jail, accused of sexual assault

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KVIA) -- 48-year-old Jesse Gonzales is accused of sexual assault.

According to the Dona Ana County Detention Center inmate list, Gonzales is charged with criminal sexual penetration and false imprisonment.

Gonzales was arrested just after midnight Friday on the 400 block of Colorado Avenue, according to jail records.

Authorities in Dona Ana County are holding Gonzales without bond.
