Overnight Crashes Make For A Busy Night

EL PASO, Tx. – Crashes kept rescue crews working through the night.

The first happened at around 9:30 last night off on U-S 54 south of Fred Wilson. Officials say the driver of a red Ford Excursion somehow lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, going up an embankment, then hitting the underpass before sliding back down! Luckily, no other cars were involved and no injuries were reported.

And just thirty minutes later, another crash, this one on U-S 54 and Cassidy. Officials say a black S-U-V spun out of control on the wet roads and hit a light pole, pulling it out of the ground, exposing live wires.

Rescue crews say the female driver did not suffer any injuries, and that no other cars were involved.
