About Dr. Underwood

Dr. Underwood is a board certified Chiropractor licensed in the state of Texas. Dr. Underwood was the team chiropractor for the Kansas City “Wizards” professional soccer team for 2 years and was the official chiropractor for “Heartland Mountain Bike Racing Tour 2001.” Dr. Underwood has worked with professional athletes in such sports as football, golf, basketball, boxing and bodybuilding. He has worked with college football, track, tennis, and soccer athletes. He has helped numerous other athletes overcome painful injuries as well as help them enhance their performance.Dr. Underwood is no stranger to sports or injury. Living in Colorado, Utah and Washington State, his love for the outdoors and athletics went hand and hand. Dr. Underwood has had his share of sports injuries over the years which helps in his understanding and application of care for his patients. From 1988 through 1994, he competed in alpine ski racing on the Masters circuit and for the Delta Air Lines ski team. Dr. Underwood has worked as a ski patroller and mountain rescue. He has been an avid skier, horseman, mountaineer, scuba diver, bicyclist and weightlifter for many years and has competed in many athletic events.
