2 Drivers Hurt In Upper Valley Crash

EL PASO — Police and medical crews cleared the scene of a two-vehiclecrash that sent two people to the hospitalon Monday morning.

The crash happened around 10 a.m.along the 6600 block ofDoniphan.

A woman driving a newer-model Mustang Cobra exited a parking lotdrove onto the street without yielding the right-of-way, police said.At the same time a man driving a Ford F-150 pickuptruck collided with the woman’s car.

The driver of the F-150 was taken to a nearby hospitalafter hecomplained ofchest pains. The woman’s condition has not yet been released.

Traffic investigators said that the force of thecrash was enough to collapse the frame of the pickup.
