Las Cruces honors fallen officer with Darian Jarrott Memorial Run
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KVIA) -- Sunday morning, Las Cruces residents gathered for the inaugural Darian Jarrott memorial run in downtown Las Cruces. It commemorates the life and legacy of Officer Jarrott, who was killed three years ago in the line of duty.
The run/walk began at 10 a.m. Sunday at Las Cruces City Hall.
Runners went from City Hall, then circled through Downtown Las Cruces three times.
The event was free for all who wished to participate.
