WASHINGTON (AP) — Super Tuesday put President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump within reach of clinching their parties’ presidential nominations. But it may be voters in Georgia, Mississippi, Washington and — in Trump’s case, Hawaii — who put them over the top. Trump needs the lion’s share of delegates at stake on Tuesday to become the presumptive nominee. Biden needs less than half. The Associated Press originally reported Biden could clinch a week later on March 19, but has since allocated all Delaware and Florida delegates to the sitting president. Those states have canceled their Democratic presidential primaries, with all their delegates going to Biden.
