Suspect In Rapes Of Juarez Women Appears In Court
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — Jorge Alberto Mendez Navarro, an El Paso man who is a suspect in the rapes of 19 Juarez woman, appeared before a Juarez judge on Wednesday and was officially charged with aggravated sexual assault, Chihuahua state police said.
He was not granted bond. Officials set a deadline of three months to conclude their investigation and request a conviction and sentence.
