Man Found Guilty Of Manslaughter In Death Of Infant Daughter
EL PASO, Texas — A jury in the 41st District Court has found David Ramos guilty of manslaughter in the death of his 8-month-old daughter in 2006, a court clerk confirmed.
The jury was initially trying to determine if Ramos was guilty of capital murder but after deliberating for more than two days, they decided on the lesser charge of manslaughter.
The jury will now decide Ramos’ sentence. Ramos could have been sentenced to life in prison had he been found guilty of capital murder.
