El Paso Diablos To Hold Local Tryouts

El Paso, Texas -Dust off the ol’ glove and take a few swings in the batting cages, the El Paso Diablos will be holding local tryouts next month.

The Diablos will have tryouts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 20 at the El Paso Community College baseball field. Participants must be over 18 years old and be a high school graduate. Cost to tryout is $75. Check-in time on March 20 is 8 a.m.

Those wanting to tryout are encouraged to pre-register for $75. Agame is scheduled to be played on March 21.

Players are responsible for their own transportation, lodging and meals. Participants should wear general baseball attire, provide their own wooden bats, helmets and catching equipment. Registration forms may be picked up at Cohen Stadium, 9700 Gateway North Boulevard , Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Diablos start its96-game season in the American Association on May 13.
