UTEP announces second concert date for Coldplay at the Sun Bowl in 2025

Update (October 11, 2024): UTEP's Office of Special Events just announced that a second Coldplay show has been added for June 14, 2025. The office says the show was added due to popular demand. Presale tickets are already available. General onsale tickets will be available starting at 1 PM today.

Update: Live Nation and UTEP officials have confirmed the rock band will be making a stop in El Paso on June 13, 2025. Fans can start signing up for the Artist Presale now through Thursday, October 10 at 10 a.m for first access to tickets.

The artist presale begins on Friday, October 11 at 9 a.m. The general sale will begin on Friday, October 11 at 12 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com

In the press release, officials say "Coldplay have also confirmed they will make a limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows at 12 p.m. local time on Friday, November 22. Infinity Tickets are released for every Coldplay show to make the Music Of The Spheres World Tour accessible to fans for an affordable price. They will cost $20 USD/20 CAD per ticket. They are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per purchaser, and must be bought in pairs (which will be located next to each other). Locations will be revealed when fans pick up their tickets in person at the box office on the day of the show and can be throughout the venue from the floor to the upper levels, side view seats and everywhere in between."


Update: UTEP and concert organizers Live Nation will announce the concert in a news conference Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 8 AM. The announcement will happen at the Sun Bowl. ABC-7 will livestream the event.


EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- UTEP's Office of Special Events just posted a video on its Instagram page appearing to hint at a possible Coldplay concert at the Sun Bowl in 2025.

The Music of Spheres World Tour already has dates scheduled and announced for Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

The video, posted early this morning, shows scenes of the Sun Bowl, mixed with the band's imagery, and ends with a graphic advertising the tour.

No dates have been announced for El Paso yet.
