Fort Bliss Holds Change Of Command Ceremony
Fort Bliss held a change of command ceremony Friday.
Major General Dana Pittard, an Eastwood High graduate, officially became the new commander of Fort Bliss Friday, stepping in for Major General Howard Bromberg, who is leaving in August.
“Boy, it is good to be home!” said Pittard to a cheering crowd at the ceremony. He is expected to stay at the base for at least two years.
