Police: Man Taught Son How To Make Bombs
A Las Cruces man is facing child abuse charges after he allegedly taught his 6-year-old son how to make bombs.
In addition, Anthony Stromberg may face even more charges. Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raided his house Thursday and found an explosive device.
According to authorities, Stromberg taught the boy how to build and blow up homemade bombs. The boy was scared his father would carry out a threat to kidnap and shoot the boy’s mother, so the boy told an adult, who in turn told authorities.
Stromberg was jailed on a bond of $150,000.
