Man Arrested For Child Porn After 3 Year Investigation

Back in September 2007, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Crimes Against Persons Section began a sexual assault investigation. As a result of an extensive investigation, detectives discovered and retrieved evidence of child pornography on a computer owned by a then 34-year-old man identified as Dirk Allrich (37 now) of the 12000 of Nina Pearl El Paso.

Detectives charged Allrich with possession of child pornography and the case was presented to the El Paso County District Attorney Office.

On June 18, 2010, Allrich was arrested on indictment or possession of child pornography and jailed under a $15,000 bond. Allrich has been released from custody on bond.
