Sun Metro’s Public Meetings On Proposed Fare Increase Continue Today

Sun Metro is in the process of hosting eight community meetings to discuss a proposed fare increase for regular, students and LIFT passengers starting in 2011. The proposal does not increase the fare for senior and disabled passengers, and calls for the elimination of transfer fees.

Sun Metro will share the details of the proposal at the following meetings:

– 6 p.m. July 20, Clardy Fox Library, 5515 Robert Alva – 6 p.m. July 27, Richard Burgess Library, 9600 Dyer – 6 p.m. July 28, Westside Library, 125 Belvidere – 11 a.m. July 31, Memorial Park Library, 3200 Copper
