Flash Flood Watch In Effect Through Sunday Night

The National Weather Service in El Paso has extended the Flash Flood Watch for the ABC-7 viewing area through 11 p.m. Sunday night.

Plentiful moisture in the Borderland will provide fuel for showers and thunderstorms Sunday and Sunday evening, with locally heavy rain possible.

Small hail and wind gusts as high as 50 mph are possible with these thunderstorms, and localized flooding is also a possibility. Rain chances decrease by Monday.
