Apartment Complex Evacuated After Blaze

More than two dozen fire crews have responded to the Alcantar Apartments in Northeast El Paso after a fire erupted shortly after 4 a.m. Friday.

The complex is located at the 4700 block of Maxwell near Dyer.

Fire crews have evacuated all residents of the apartment complex and have requested Sun Metro send in at least 3 buses to help keep them warm.

No injuries have been reported.
