Man Charged With 2nd DWI After Crash In East El Paso
El Paso police charged a man with his second DWI following an early-morning crash Sunday in east El Paso.
Investigators told ABC-7 that Juan Landeros, 69, ran a stoplight at about 1:38 a.m., on the 12200 block of Montana near Joe Battle, rear-ending another vehicle.
Police said Landeros was intoxicated and placed under arrest.
Authorities said a further investigation revealed that Landeros had a conviction for DWI in June 1990, according to police.
Landeros was booked into the El Paso County Jail and is being held on $1,000 bond.
