‘Antiques Roadshow’ Hunts For Treasures In El Paso

Perhaps you’ve always wonder if that you-know-what that’s been stored in the garage for years is worth as much as you value it.

This weekend, a selected few will have a chance to find out.

Thousands of people are expected Saturday at the El Paso Convention Center for taping of the popular show-what-you-brought-from-home program.

Tickets were given out earlier this year in a random drawing.

Owners offer items for appraisal or to get more background from experts, as cameras capture some of the more unusual or expensive offerings.

Executive producer Marsha Bemko says the show is about discovering America’s hidden treasures.

The El Paso show is being taped for next season, with the broadcast date to be determined.
