Storms Weakened, ABC-7 First Alert Cancelled

ABC-7 Chief Meteorologist “Doppler” Dave Speelman has cancelled the Stormtrack Weather First Alert issued for our viewing area for Tuesday night.

“The atmosphere has stabilized and the severe weather threat has greatly diminished,” he said. “We could still see a thunderstorm here and there tonight but don’t expect anything significant.”

The next weather maker will be a cold front late Thursday into Friday which will bring a slight chance for some rain.

The front will usher in the coldest air since May as we expect temps to fall in the low and mid 70s, Speelman said.
