Classes Resume After Power Is Restored AT UTEP

Classes at the University of Texas at El Paso resumed after power was restored shortly before noon Tuesday.

The university experienced a power outage when one of its electrical feeders failed, causing the power at UTEP to go out shortly after 3:30 a.m.

The campus was fully operational by noon, and the university resumed normal hours. Courses that started at 11:40 a.m. were not canceled. All morning classes and P3, non-credit, classes were canceled for the day.
