Stoms developing in area

Thunderstorms have developed this afternoon to our north and northeast and are moving to the south and southwest.

There will be some widely scattered storms over the area this evening. Nothing severe right now but a slight possibility one could become severe.

We hit day 18 of triple digits today and six days in a row of triple digits. We should see a bit of a cool down late this weekend and next week as more clouds develop and an increase chance of storms hit the area.
