Southwest to end El Paso to Albuquerque flights
Southwest Airlines has notified El Paso International Airport that it will discontinue its two daily direct flights to Albuquerque on Jan. 6.
Travis Johnson, an El Paso lawyer and long-time member of Southwest’s board, confirmed the decision.
“All the airlines are hurting right now,” he said. “We’re looking for ways to earn a living.”
