Gandara Jr.’s rearraignment postponed

Former El Paso County Commissioner Willie Gandara Jr.’s rearraignment hearing, originally scheduled for today, has been rescheduled for Aug. 16, according to court records.

Gandara Jr. Resigned his seat after he was arrested earlier this year and charged with trafficking marijuana. Federal authorities accused him and several other men of running the scheme out of a property in Socorro, Texas.
