Sci-fi fans, set your phasers on stun because a science fiction convention is scheduled for April 26-28 at the El Paso Marriott.

Announced guests for the inaugural Sun City Scifi so far include Joseph Gatt (Undisclosed role in Star Trek: Into Darkness), Tom Kane (Yoda in Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon), Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca from Star Wars films), Aaron Douglas (Galen Tyrol from Battlestar Galactica), Tony Amendola ( Jaffa master Bra’tac from Stargate SG-1), and David Yost (Blue Power Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).

There has been much speculation about Gatt’s role in the highly anticipated Star Trek sequel.

According to Sun City Scifi’s Twitter posts, three-day passes for the convention are $35. General admission tickets for April 27 and 28 are $20 each day. There is no information on how much admission is for April 26. (Editor’s Note: Sun City Scifi posted Sunday that April 26 is a preview night and that admission to it is only available by buying the three-day pass.
