UTEP Improves to 6-5 after win over Demons.

After falling to New Orleans Monday night, the Miners were able to bounce back Thursday night and defeat Northwestern State 84-74.

Coming in to the game the Demons ranked 7th nationally in scoring, averaging 88.5 points a game. The Miners held them to one of their fewest outputs of the year.

McKenzie Moore led the Miners in scoring with 17 points, and John Bohannon had a double double dropping in 10 points to go with 13 rebounds.

The Miners improved to 6-5, and will now head to Washington for a Saturday showdown with Washington State.
