ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Hot temps today, triples on the way

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Today will be a bit warmer as a warming trend kicks off throughout the region potentially adding triples to our forecast.

Today we will see temperatures climb from yesterday and reach average today. El Paso is expected to reach a high of 94, Las Cruces expected to reach a high of 91.

Today we will wake up to slim rain chances at 10% as moisture exits the region. Rain chances dry up even further Wednesday.

As rain chances dry up we turn our attention to the next weather impact a warming trend. Temperatures will climb day by day this week potentially bringing El Paso triple digit temperatures by Friday. This warm up could also bring Las Cruces its first triple digit temp of the year by the weekend.
