Car crash knocks out power to homes in South-Central El Paso

Power was shortly cut off to a South-Central El Paso neighborhood after a car crashed into a utility pole, Thursday night.

The incident happened about 9:30 a.m.near the intersection of Concepcion and Blanco

Police say the driver backed up and drove away before they arrived. El Paso Electric crews had to temporarily shut off power while fixing the pole.
