Vicious pitbull leads to arrest for two El Paso men; pitbull killed
El Paso Police officers responded to calls about a vicious dog on the loose in Central El Paso Friday night.
When they got there — they say a pit bull attacked them.They say they had to shoot and kill it.
The dog’s owners are in jail for trying to stop the cops.Marco and Leonardo Hernandez Enriquez allegedly fought with the officers before and after the dog was killed.The cop who shot the dog said he feared for his life when the dog attacked.
Police said 25-year-old Marco Enriquez tried to pull the officer’s gun out of his hand before the dog was killed.They say he punched and kicked the officer too. marco’s brother, 24-year-old Leonardo also jumped in and fought police too. Both were arrested.
