Man dies when car hit by train
A man in his 20s was killed in South-Central El Paso Friday when the car he was driving in was struck by a train.
El Paso Police said the man, whose name has not been released, was driving a black Honda south on Clark when he got to the train tracks at Awbrey just before El Paso Drive. According to police, the man disregarded the down crossing guards right when a train heading west was approaching.
The train plowed into the car and killed the man inside.
