Wind advisory issued for El Paso area
The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a wind advisory through 9 p.m. today for El Paso and the surrounding area.
It is expected to get windy on the east slopes of area mountains into early tonight.
Winds will be out of the southwest to west, winds increasing to 25 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 40 mph are likely. strongest winds will be through passes and along eastern.
