Fire rips through East El Paso apartment complex
An apartment fire left three families without homes Sunday night.
Fire officials say the blaze began in the bedroom of a Trevino Place apartment on Lee Trevino and Edgemere.
Occupants say they heard a fire alarm go off around 6:30 p.m.
According to fire officials, 10 units and 33 firefighters were dispatched to the scene and were able to get the fire under control quickly.
