Police investigate two wrecks on I-10

El Paso police say four people were taken to the hospital and an unidentified driver is on the run after two car wrecks on Interstate 10 early Thursday morning.
The incident began around 1:45 a.m. between Lee Trevino and Yarbrough, when police say a Jetta crashed into a van. The three people who were in the van as well as the driver of the Jetta were hospitalized with minor injuries. Police say they are investigating whether or not the driver of the Jetta was drunk at the time.
During the investigation, police say another car side-swiped a police unit and fled the scene. That car has been described as a grey Hyundai. Police say they caught up with the car near Airway but they lost track of it.
